Gender Identification Based On IC No. - Part1

Assalamualaikum.

As per above title, i'm sure a lot of people has came across this topic in daily work or task. Without having a proper knowledge on Excel, may lead us to manually identify the gender one by one. If the data that required to be checked is very few, then it won't take much time. But if it is the other way around, then you are ADVISED to ask Excel to do the work. Why?? Because it SAVE much of your TIME!!

Now, what you have to do is just construct a simple formula in Excel and walla! the result is automatically displayed in just a few seconds.

As to help you understand better about what I was talking about, I've prepared an example with a suitable coding as shown in pic below;

Please take note that the formula is not absolute. Different people might apply different formula, depending on individual level of knowledge in Excel.

Choosing Correct Price of Quantity Purchased (Staggered Price)

Assalamualaikum.

Masih lg fokus kt scope usahawan... Ada tak usahawan yang offer staggered price to customer depending on quantity purchased?

Cth: Beli 1->5 ea - price/unit = RM5.00
Beli 6->10 ea - price/unit = RM4.50
Beli 11->Above ea - price/unit = RM4.00

Instead of manually select the price, we can just ask Excel to do the work. Just plug in the quantity required in a correct database, Excel will automatically select the right unit price to be used. It is just as easy as ABC!!

Counting Orders (Mengira Order)

Ha, for the first time, moh kita tengok applikasi Excel dalam bisnes. Assuming we have a list of orders untuk t-shirt as below;

In order to know the exact quantity of orders for the respective sizes,  normally we have to manually calculate items one by one. This non value added process of course will take a lot of time depending on the number of orders received that day.

As to shorten the time, why not try using Excel to solve the problem! If you are using the correct formula to do your work, I'm sure you will save more time and most importantly obtain an accurate result.

Then, let's see how can we summarize the info using Excel;

In this example; i use COUNTIF formula as it suite with the problem.
